PICS : Mzansi footballers dressed up

You can always catch them in the field of play wearing their soccer kits that do not really reveal much about personal style and fashion sense.

Very rarely do fans get to see some of their favorite football players in anything other than tracksuits and soccer kits.

Some football  players do try to incorporate as much of their personal style into their kits as possible but they can only go as far as having their collar up, untucked jerseys, wearing their socks low on their shins and extravagant hairstyles.

Outside the field of play, footballers have the freedom to go crazy with their fashion and in doing so, some of them make a complete mess of it.

It is safe to assume that formal wear is not very popular with many footballers although they sometimes have to wear it when going to games.

Suits are not the most comfortable pieces of clothing, perhaps one of the reasons why footballers hardly ever appear in them if they are not forced by their clubs to wear them.

With that said, there are a few footballers who wear them well.

Here are some Mzansi football players in their suits below, you decide if they were a hit or miss.

Bernard Parker (Kaizer Chiefs)

Siphiwe Tshabalala (Kaizer Chiefs)

Xola Mlambo (Orlando Pirates)

Sibusiso Vilakazi (Mamelodi Sundowns)

Thabo Mnyamane (Supersport United)
