Nokuthula Ledwaba, Khanyi & Joyce Skefu in money-laundering drama

Now this is one story that is about to be on people’s lips for weeks on end.

Parental Advisory Production has done it again as they bring to us more drama with a religious twist.

It’s the introduction of a star-studded cast of South Africa’s most talented actresses as they star in this religious TV drama series of five religious women who find themselves right in the middle of a criminal underworld and forced to change their stokvel into a money-laundering scheme. How hectic?

The drama series is titled Abomama and stars the likes of Nokuthula Ledwaba, Khanyi Mbau, and the likes of Kenneth Nkosi and Don Mlangeni Nawa are also leading actors in the drama series.

 

“What makes Abomama relatable are these women who represent the mothers, sisters and grandmothers who hold our society together,” said M-Net’s Director of Local Entertainment Channels, Reneilwe Sema.

“The drama aims to show these everyday women as they grapple with temptations, weaknesses, strengths, miracles and victories. Abomama reveals the extraordinary lives of ordinary women.” She added.

The show is set to air on the 8th of April at 8:00pm on Mzansi Magic.
