Ayanda Ncwane breaks down again

He used to sing songs that speak to your heart and had you connecting more to the Lord. Today marks the first anniversary of Sfiso Ncwane’s sudden passing at just 37 years old.

The gospel great, according to Macufe, started singing at the age of 8 and broke into the music industry with his first professional album, Makadunyiswe, in 2001. But it was his 2010 hit Kulungile Baba that really put him on the map.

In 2013 Kulungile Baba won a Sama for record of the year and an AGMA award (a London-based gospel music award).

The award-winning singer also started the Sfiso Ncwane Bursary Foundation where he helped more than 1 000 schoolchildren in rural areas.

Most of all Sfiso was a God-fearing man who believed in helping the needy.

Last year on 5 December news of his death, reportedly due to kidney failure, shocked the country, and we mourned along with his family at the lost of a son, husband, friend and great gospel singer.

His widow, Ayanda, took to Instagram to pay tribute to her husband, and added that she feel she’s losing him all over again today.

“I can lie in front of the world and walk with bravery, smile with a bruised spirit, walk with silent screams, but the fact still stands I weep deeply almost every night and beg God to return you to me. I can’t get used to your absence! Today feels like I’m losing you over and over again!” she said.

My love you changed my life in 4 different times just like 4 seasons. In 2002 you changed my title to be a girlfriend, in 2003 to a mother, in 2007 to a wife , in 2016 to a widow! But sadly on the 5th I witnessed the most painful & brutal experience in my entire life! God decided to take you away from us,I can lie infront of the world and walk with bravery , smile with a bruised spirit, walk with silent screams, but the fact still stands i weep deeply almost every night and beg God to return you to me. I can't get used to your absence! Today feels like I'm loosing you over and over again! ….The pain of loosing you never goes away, the wound is always fresh. It is the grace of God that keeps me going each day. Being angry at God for not saving your life can not help me… God is God! He does as He pleases! I guess He designed our lives exactly like this, my job is to adjust to His plan. I will always love you myeni wami ❤️… Goodnight sthandwa sam, rest well ❤️.
